Today we in Croatia remember our town Vukovar which was attacked by Serbian soldiers in war for our independence. They entered the town 18 years ago on this day. They committed a horrible crime and took the wounded civilians and soldiers from the hospital and killed them. They killed over 2000 people, from babies to old people.
In honor to those people and soldiers who died fighting for our country we light candles.

I went with my class today to light candles in street named Vukovar because our school is nearby. We put the candles near the road and motor-bikers form all over the country drove through Zagreb through that street on their way to Vukovar.

On Friday I was in old part of town and took some photos. I hope I will put them soon.
I met one Italian tourist and we had a little conversation about Zagreb. Fortunately I'm good at history and there was also one cute cat that was following me all the time
